WATER EMERGENCY
- Determine where the source of water is coming from. Turn it off!
- Call CLENE START at 770.887.6375 to inform us of your flood. We will dispatch a crew to professionally extract the water and dry your home.
- Move all wood furniture off wet carpet if possible, or put tin foil or plastic lids under the legs. This will help prevent damage to the furniture and carpet.
- Be extremely cautious of electrical outlets located in the floors that may be wet
- Professional cleaning at this piont is a must to prevent mold and mildew from growing..
PET SOILING EMERGENCY
- Remove solid matter if present and absorb as much moisture as possible.
- Resist the urge to dump as many "over-the-counter-chemicals-as-you-can-find" on the stain.
- Refer to "WHAT SPOTS?" brochure. These are tips that are tested and proven to work.
CARPET SOILING EMERGENCY
- For tracked in wet mud, allow to dry thoroughly then VACUUM, VACUUM, and VACUUM! To remove as much of the dirt as posible.
- For dry toner, soot, and ashes DO NOT WET. Again, VACUUM, VACUUM, VACUUM! Wetting the areas will only cause it to spread and seep deep into the carpet fibers.
- For any beverage spill, absorb, and blot as much moisture as possible. Then refer to recipes below.
- For any other mishaps such as spills, grease, makeup, crayon, ink, etc. use CLENE START's Nature Solve spotter.
GENERAL CLEANING SOLUTIONMix 1 tsp. dishwashing detergent in 1 quart water. Apply solution to soiled area. Agitate gently working from outside in. Rinse well with a 50/50 mixture of white vinegar and water. Towel dry as much as possible. Place dry white toweling over area, weight down and leave until dry.STAIN REMOVER
For a stain not removed by general cleaning solution, use a mixture of 50/50 5% hydrogen peroxide and clear non-sudsing ammonia. Spray on stain and allow to dry. Repeat process until stain disappears. NEVER USE THIS MIXTURE ON WOOL CARPETS OR WOOL RUGS.
